Madina.com admins are thinking of allowing some form of interaction between brothers and sisters on Madina.com
After consulting with scholars, we were told that as long as their is no form of private communication or anything that leads to private communication is ok.
So their is no chance that Madina.com will allow private messaging between males and females as this is an Islamic site. However we are considering allowing male / female interaction only by allowing users to follow each others activity such as posts, comments, etc. What do you think? Is this ok? Also if allowed, what word should be used to describe the action? On Facebook they use the word "add as a friend" and the become "my friends".
On Linkedin, they use the words "add connection" and thus becomes "my connections".
On Youtube, they use the words "Subcribe" and thus becomes "my subscriptions"
On Twitter, they use the words "Follow" and thus becomes "following/followers"
What term do you think is the best
